The Low Voltage Products division manufactures low-voltage circuit breakers, switches, control products, wiring accessories, enclosures and cable systems to protect people, installations and electronic equipment from electrical overload. Sales Engineer - (Project) Construction

Responsibilities:

To ensure the achievement of the personal sales target and the soft target, to offer products which meet the Specialist Electrical Contractor/EPC/EPCI customers requirements, to strengthen the companys position in the market and also to perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures :

  • Business Development and Customer Management
    • Establish new customer relationships, maintain existing customers and meet personal sales target by calling and visiting them to identify and understand their needs in order to create long term relationships.
    • Coordinate and work with the technical or logistic personnel to solve customer complaints.
    • Draft technical proposals according to customer needs and develop existing and potential customer portfolio.
    • Maintain data on customer needs, habits and credibility in order to enhance business opportunities and to identify new customers.
    • Coordinate with the Marketing Department for new project opportunities and coordinate with the technical Engineer for the application of a mock-up sample.
    • Maintain the customer database, create quotations together with Area Sales Manager/Business Development .Manager and carry out product presentations at the customers site.
    Support for Sales Performance/Strategies
    • Develop strong client relationships that provide significant inputs to planning products, price and service strategies.
    Contract and Payment Receivable Management
    • Coordinate with Technical Services, Project Administration and AR for the project contract and payment administration.
    • Follow up due invoices in cooperation with AR.
    Market Intelligence
    • Identify market trends and new business opportunities and conduct initial market analyses if necessary and requested.
    • Collect and analyze data in order to develop competitor profiles and carry out benchmarking on competitors positioning and the performance of their competing products.
    • Provide a monthly sales report to the Sales Manager and the Head of Sales Manager.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
  • At least5 years of working experience in sales atthe related field is required.
    • Have experience to manage business partner/channel /3rd parties more than 2 years
    • Having good approach, large data base of customer contacts and target oriented individual
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good written and spoken in English and computer literate
  • Able to start work immediately preferred
