Familiarity with a Linux console, associated tools and package management systems
Excellent Communication skills for both written and spoken in English is essential.
Additionally, candidate with the following exposure will be highly considered: Working knowledge of Mercurial/git revision control tools Experience in Linux system automation with bash/perl Working knowledge of MVC frameworks Strong TCP/IP networking skills and knowledge of enterprise network technologies (ie. MPLS/VPLS) Worked in a Telco or ISP building provisioning and assurance tools and systems Knowledge of industry standards such as the TMForum Frameworx Experience with Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Camel, Apache ServiceMix Applicants must flexible and adaptive, able to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge. Hired candidate will be invited to Australia for a month to go through training and cultural bonding with the Melbourne team. Visa, transportation, expenses and accommodation will be covered.
