This role provides a service of guidance, surveillance, governance and day to day onsite monitoring of environment management system. He/she also shall mainly focus in implementing Environmental related programs, monitoring, inspection and audit in accordance with BHPBillitonGroup Level Document (GLD) and Indonesian Statutory HSES requirements, to achieve companys commitment to conduct all activities with zero harm to people and environment.

Kalimantan Tengah

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Superintendents Health, Safety&Environmental in maintaining and updating the Project's HSE Management System in accordance with BHP Billiton GLDs and Indonesian Statutory Requirements
  • Facilitate and assist SuperintendentHSEand contractor team to identify and assess the risks/impacts for the activities of their areas
  • Assist contractors in implementing BHP Billiton Health& Safety policy, standard and procedure on site
  • Establish an effective strategic/ system of Environmental and Biodiversitymanagement audits/ inspection process to periodically measure performance against plan and compliance with statutory requirements
  • Ensure that all contractors are properly inducted/trained, supervised and assessed and comply with regulatory and BHP Billiton GLDs, HSEC standards and policies
  • Provide pro-active advice to project team and sub-contractors on site in all level on Environmental and Biodiversity policy, standards and procedures and emerging best practice standards
  • Facilitate technical expertise on investigations cause analysis methods to any incident or HSE related issues and monitor the defined action plans/ recommendations to prevent remedial events
  • Updating and reviewing Environmental and Biodiversitystandards and procedures to meet with working conditions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Forestry / Agriculture / Environment or other relevant
  • AMDAL and POP / POM Certificate is preferred
  • Relevan experience in exploration, mining operation or environmental services,
  • Familiar with environmental management system,
  • Good understanding of local and regional Environmental and Biodiversity of the project area,
  • Good knowledge on HSE regulations, ability to work in remote area with minimum supervision
  • High level of communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills,
  • Proficient in English
