Atlas is a fully integrated business. We own and operate several pearl farms, manage loose pearl distribution, have in-house jewellery manufacturing capabilities and operate several retail outlets.
To support our fast growing business in Indonesia, we are now looking for qualified candidates for following position:
Senior Accountant
Bali
Responsibilities:
- Daily Responsibilities and Major Accountabilities :
- Review and collate information for month end file for PT Cendana Indopearls (PT CI)
- Prepare Financial Reports PT CI
- Prepare/Assist in Year End Tax Calculations for PT CI
- Reconcile the General Ledger to final audited and tax numbers.
- Cost control managing expenditure to ensure within budget.
- Review transfer pricing calculations monthly
- Review and ensure all stock transfers reconcile monthly
- Review and control expat leave
- Attend Stock takes and Assist with Reconciliations
- Work with the FC Australia in improving controls and procedures
- Other duties as directed.
- Special Projects :
- Improve the timeliness of month end and year end reporting.
- Assist in improving the functionality of the Accounting System with a focus on developing automated Reporting.
- Improve controls around payments and receipts and tracking actuals to budget.
- Assist the Financial Controller with various other tasks
Requirements:
Specialist Knowledge, Experience and Requirements :
- Excellent English & Indonesian Language Skills
- 6 years audit experience (in big 4 accounting firm) or 8 years commerce experience with a multinational company)
- Excellent knowledge of Indonesian accounting practices, procedures and regulations
- Experience preparing Financial Report and Tax Effect
- Working knowledge of Indonesian Corporate Law
- Advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft and excel as well as financial software (experience with SAP Business One would be advantageous)
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional communicator
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Commercially minded
